Ah my medals. Gold at Inter IIT Bombay December 2003 and Silver at IIT Delhi December 2002. So proud of it. Played really well in IIT Bombay. Seriously. Really Proud.

Just see this. So fit. Not anymore. Played center half, its like the most important position in Indian style of hockey.

This is Escare, the most important player in the Spanish team. He guided the Spanish to champion's trophy victory last year. This time the trophy is being hosted in Chennai, from 10th to 18th December. Check the site here. I am going to watch almost all the matches.

India vs Pakistan at 8.00 PM on Wednesday, 14th of December. Check out the schedule here.

Come on India. Come on. Well just for information, we haven't won this trophy ever. Best performace is 3rd place. Don't this we are going to win it again this year. Pakistan looks to be the favourites. Atleast I am supporting them this time, not against India though.

It is Time!!!

I have been working like an ass from 10 in the morning to 12 in the night. Personal life is screwed, fooding habbits are really bad, boss expects me to work harder, friends asking me "where the duck have you been", want to meet someone but sometime I don't have time and sometimes she is really busy. When is it time to say enough is enough, I will work the way I want to work??

People in western world never work so hard. Is it because India is still a developing nation and most of the things which we do depends or is linked to the west?? Be it market research or IT solutions or consulting or manufacturing, most of the clients are from the West. They don't work as hard as we do, believe me they don't. The whole of France goes on a summer vacation in July and August. When will we understand that the US of A is just another country like Sri Lanka or Chile?? When will we say Indians need not work for some western country?? I guess the time is coming very soon.

One thing which I can see is the people opting for call center jobs for US clients would decrease. With the sensex crossing 9000 points, foreign investments in Indian markets, manufacturing getting a boost, high growth in agriculture, high growth in mining and a great monsoon, the economy is bound to go up and people will tend to spend more and more. That means more people will get employed for providing services to these customers or shift jobs from the stupid shitty night call center thing to the day jobs of providing guidence and assistance to these new customers.

Another thing which I can see is that western economy is dependent on the growth on India and China, it is time when we arm twist the wester manufacturers and tell them "Ok boss this is it, we can provide this to you. You take it or we can start selling our products in Asia." India is now a healthy wealthy and w9ise economy. :-)

Rains in Madras are Irritating

Now this is getting out of control. You can't drive, the roads are full of water and I am pissed. Life sucks on the road!!!

Me and Kini went out yestreday to meet Priya and the rain was painful. Other than fat cows on the roads there was water everywhere. Like Forrest Gump said "The water even came from the opposite direction." Kini became camera crazy and started clicking photos left right and center.

Can't even see what is on the other side of the windscreen. God enough of rains. Thank you. We don't want anymore.

Music is Life!!!

Well after listening to few songs you feel like wow. I love slow music, fast music, no music, just music, gazal, jhatka matka, disco shishco, depends on mood. These days I am listeing to psychedelic rock and Tinka Tinka.

Well music tells us a lot of things. One incident I recall when we were in IIT.

My room was on the 3rd floor and at a secluded place. No one used to come there. So generally booze used to be at 356 Cauvery Hostel. We were few friends and dope, vodka and Pink Floyd. Kini is full out. He can't speak.

Sayesha sent me this song few months back. It is from a movie Karam, the movie bombed on the box office but Patiala Pataka did blog about it when the movie came out.

I didn't have time and didn't listen to it that time. Just don't know why I never listened to this song. I listened to it few days back and has been running on my computer ever since. Sayesha this song is for you. Thanks for sending it.

I watched Notting Hill for the zillionth time. I think it is the best romantic movie ever made on planet earth. Julia Roberts (Anna Scott) looks like a Princess and Hugh Grant (William Thacker) is the nice guy (who will obviously finish first). Few quotes.

Anna: Can I stay for a while? William: You can stay forever.

William: I live in Notting Hill. You live in Beverly Hills. Everyone in the world knows who you are, my mother has trouble remembering my name. Anna: I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

And the idiot says NO. Uff!! Anyway, later they end up together and like any other Hindi movie it has a happy ending. :-)
