Tanzania - Serengeti and Ngorogoro - October 2017

We got a chance to visit the Serengeti National PArk in early October of 2017.

Note: some photos are from our camera and some were shared by others who we met on the trip.

We flew over Kilimanjaro when landing into Arusha Airport.

We also met some nomadic tribes of Tanzania and our tour company help setup cooking chimneys for the villagers and interacted with inquisitive kids.

..enroute to Serengeti, we stopped and jumped a bit. some significantly higher than others.

At the gates of Serengeti National Park.

The above photos are of the herbivorous animals.

The lions are the king of the jungle. Just the way they carry themselves and the swagger that they have, does show off "A king vibe"!

We spent 3 days and 2 nights in Serengeti and off we went to Ngorogoro Crater.

We spent a night at the rim of the crater.

We drove into the crater.

We saw 15 Lions chasing buffaloes and followed them.

The calf and the mother were caught by the lions and they had their meal. It's unfortunate to see this but we humans are just another species in the billions of others that exist of the blue rock! We are nothing, we just exist along with others.

The lions didn't care how they ate their meal, but they had to eat it. When we say "they are animals"; this is what we see animals do!

And the shirt with the names of everyone that we met on this 10 day trip.
